The two shells close around the rotor, hold it where it belongs, and give the air somewhere defined to go. Split one of them and you usually hear the problem before you see it: a note from the machine you have not heard from it before, vibration that was not there last month, and air leaking out of the assembly instead of being delivered where it is wanted. Both halves carry mounting points and sealing faces, which is why a shell that has been glued or taped back together rarely holds the assembly to the tolerance the rest of the machine assumes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe mis-order to avoid here is the hand. 75064GS and 75063GS are one digit apart and describe mirror-image mouldings that will not swap sides.
