Check the chassis before ordering this one. Part 5178 is the two-screw right-hand swivel neck support built for the older 5320UL base, as fitted to AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost and X5 machines of that generation. Both mounting screws are supplied with it, and SEBO shows the support at position 109 on the AUTOMATIC X4/X5 exploded diagram, with the matching left-hand support listed separately at position 110.
Supports on this side normally give way at the screw bosses, where the plastic has been clamped, released and clamped again through past repairs. Once a boss splits, the neck sits proud on that side, the steering turns vague, and the wiring routed through the joint starts taking strain it was never meant to carry. Left long enough, what began as a cracked bracket becomes an intermittent electrical fault as well.

The quickest way to confirm you have the right generation is to count the screws holding the existing support: this part is the two-screw pattern. Do not force the new screws home hard — the bosses are what failed last time, and fresh plastic splits just as readily under a screwdriver leaned on too hard.
