Part 506SP is MD's 30 degree spigot connector for central vacuum pipe, a PVC fitting made with a spigot end in place of the usual socket.
MD describes its spigot fittings as made to fit directly into another fitting, which is what makes them useful in tight spots. A spigot end pushes into the hub of the next fitting instead of receiving a length of pipe, so this connector is the piece to reach for where two fittings have to sit against each other with no room for a stub of pipe between them, such as a turn inside a stud bay or behind cabinetry.

Thirty degrees is a shallow correction rather than a corner: it nudges a run past an obstacle where a 45 would swing it too far. Because a spigot end carries no socket of its own it always terminates into another fitting's hub, so work out what sits on the far side of the joint before ordering.
