Air-Way Vibra-Kleen Extraction Cleaner (Part #AWEXT16) is a 16 oz concentrated detergent built specifically for hot-water extraction of carpets, area rugs, and upholstery. Its low-foam, low-pH formula is gentle on fibers while still cutting through embedded soil, making it well suited for routine deep cleaning and for delicate or color-sensitive materials.

The low-foam chemistry matters in an extractor: it protects the recovery tank and vacuum motor from foam build-up that can reduce suction and cause overflow. As the carpet dries, the solution crystallizes into a dry, brushable powder rather than leaving a sticky residue, so cleaned areas resist rapid re-soiling. Simply mix 2 oz per gallon of water in the solution tank and clean as usual.
