SEBO AIRBELT Textile for AIRBELT E3 Premium — Black and Silver Stripes

Of the three AIRBELT textiles made for the E range, the black and silver stripe is the only one SEBO gave a line of its own on the factory drawing: item 26 of the AIRBELT E sheet, printed against 8221AM10. That single detail makes it the least ambiguous of the three to order, and it is the correct covering for an AIRBELT E3 Premium finished in stripes.

A textile earns its keep by wearing out so that nothing else has to. The padded band beneath it absorbs every low-speed collision that comes of dragging a canister behind you, and the fabric on top is the sacrificial layer. Wear concentrates first where the curve of the nose meets furniture, opening the weave, then runs along the leading edge until the covering will no longer sit tight against the band. Renewing it is the difference between a machine that looks finished and one that looks maintained.

Since the sheet carries only this one textile line, the other finishes have to be found by number rather than position. 8221AM07 carries the oval motif. 8221AM01 is the unpatterned gray black, and SEBO lists that one for the AIRBELT E3 Premium along with its two stablemates. Anyone working from item 26 alone will be sent stripes, which is ideal if stripes are what the machine wears and a nuisance if they are not.
