This genuine OEM stationary fan (Part #31253) is the diffuser fan for Ametek Lamb 5.7-inch two-stage bypass motors, fitting the 115757, 116110-01, 116336, 116336-01, 116336-02, 116354, and 116471. Paired with the rotating fan, it directs airflow between motor stages to build suction and helps keep the motor cool.
A cracked or worn stationary fan disrupts that airflow, which drops suction and can let the motor run hotter and louder than normal. A sound fan restores the airflow balance the motor needs for full performance.
