SEBO Anti-Static Wire for 3...

Product details
Static build-up comes with the territory when dry air and carpet fiber are pulled through a plastic housing all day, and part 50142ER is the small conductor that carries that charge safely away on the SEBO 300 Mechanical and 350 Mechanical. It ties the machine's internal path to ground so the charge bleeds off continuously instead of collecting until it jumps to whoever is holding the handle.
Nothing about a failed anti-static wire shows up as a performance fault, which is why it usually gets diagnosed from complaints rather than inspection. Operators start reporting nips at the grip, dust begins clinging stubbornly to the outside of the body instead of being drawn in, and cleaned carpet picks up lint again faster than it should. Any service that reveals a broken conductor, a wire pulled out of its terminal, or a green, corroded end is the same conclusion. Unplug the vacuum before opening the housing, make sure both ends are clean and firmly seated when the new wire goes in, and confirm the routing keeps it clear of the brush roller and the belt path.
