Bag holders exist to keep the collar square to the inlet, and part 50125ER is the one used in the SEBO 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL. It is the frame the bag hangs from inside the compartment, and it does the whole job of turning a paper bag into a sealed part of the air path.
If the frame is warped or cracked, the bag hangs at an angle and its collar stops pressing flat against the inlet. Dust then takes the gap instead of the bag, coating the pre-motor filter on its way through and eventually reaching the motor. A bag that seems to fill unevenly, a compartment with loose debris in the bottom of it, or a machine that smells dusty in use all trace back to this part more often than to the bags themselves. It is a cheap piece to rule out before anyone starts pricing motors.

The release mechanism that works against it is bag lever 50122OR with axle 50123ER and return spring 50124ER. Downstream, filter safety catch 50205ER holds the pre-motor filter, which is stocked as microfilter 5036AM, anti-odor microfilter 5425AM or HEPA microfilter 5812ER, and filter indicator 50209ER is the gauge that tells you when the bag is done. Genuine bags come as 5093AM, or by the carton in 5093A3 and 5093A4, and the exhaust inserts on the other side of the motor are 50169ER and 50170ER.
