Product details

This control board replaces the factory unit inside Beam central vacuum power units, sold as the CV199 / Dust Care DCC-4 board under part 100550.

The board manages the electrical control side of the power unit, the part that tells the motor when to start and stop. When it fails, the clearest signs are a power unit that stays completely dead when switched on, or one that cuts in and out unpredictably even though the motor itself tests fine when checked directly.

  • Part: 100550
  • Fits: Beam CV199, Dust Care DCC-4 central vacuum power units
  • Function: controls motor start and stop signals

Before ordering, rule out simpler causes: confirm the unit has power at the outlet, that the low-voltage control wire running to the wall inlets is intact, and that the motor runs when tested directly, since a control board is only the right fix once those checks come back clean. Pull the plug on the power unit and confirm it stays unplugged before opening the housing to swap the board, and ground yourself against the metal housing before handling the replacement out of its packaging, since boards like this are sensitive to static discharge.

Confirm your existing board's connector layout matches before ordering, since central vacuum control boards are not interchangeable across every power unit generation.
