SEBO Left-Hand Brush Roll B...

Product details

On a SEBO 300 Mechanical or 350 Mechanical the brush roller turns in a block at either end, and part 50355HG is the light gray one on the left. It gives the shaft a low-friction seat so the roller can spin all day without loading up the belt. Its opposite number is 50356HG, and one will not stand in for the other, so check which side you are holding before ordering.

Bearings turn every second the machine runs, so wear here is a question of when rather than whether. A tired left-hand block announces itself in three ways: a growl or rumble from the head that rises with brush load, a roller you can rock or lift by hand once the head is open, and bristle rows that have worn down more on one side than the other. Left alone, the play spreads. The roller leans, the belt runs off-centre and heats up, and the drive works harder to turn a brush that is dragging in its seat. A new block quiets the head and puts the roller back on a true axis.

Bearing blocks protect far larger components than themselves, so most technicians replace both ends at the same visit and clear wound hair out of the roller shafts while the head is open. If the belt has been running against a leaning roller, renew belt 5110 at the same time. The roller itself is 50470ER on the 300 Mechanical and 50471ER on the 350 Mechanical.
