Working as a pair with the block at the opposite end, part 50356HG seats the right-hand end of the brush roller in a SEBO 300 Mechanical or 350 Mechanical. SEBO draws it at position 109 on the parts sheet that covers both machines, which is the quickest way to confirm you are ordering the correct side before the head goes back together.
A worn right-hand block gives itself away with a growl that rises as the brush loads up on carpet, or with a roller that can be rocked by hand once the sole plate is off. Play at one end never stays at one end. The roller starts running out of square, the belt tracks toward one flange and warms up, and the bristle row wears at an angle so the machine cleans unevenly across its width. Renewing the block restores a square, quiet roller and takes the side load back off the drive.
Because both blocks live in the same dust and run the same hours, they usually wear together — inspecting the left-hand block 50355HG at the same visit saves stripping the head twice. Clear hair from the shaft ends before the new block goes on, check belt 5110 for glazing while the roller is out, and refit the light gray brush strip cover 50352HG once the assembly is closed up. The roller itself is 50470ER on the 300 Mechanical and 50471ER on the 350 Mechanical.
