Bissell supplies the Big Green brush core on its own, one roll to a pack, under part number 2037458. It covers the 86T3 Big Green Machine Professional and its 86T32, 86T38, 86T3F, 86T3Q and 86T3V variants, the 40M1, the 3288 and 32886 Big Green PET PRO, the 10N2 and the BG10.
Extractor brush rolls wear from the tips inward. As the bristles shorten they stop reaching into the pile, and the machine goes from lifting soil out of a carpet to simply wetting it. Melted or splayed rows, a roll gone visibly oval, or bristles you can flatten with a thumb and watch stay flat are all replacement territory.
Bristle color depends on what Bissell has in production and may not match the roll you take out. The core, the bearings and the drive end are unchanged.
