This is the genuine Bissell access plate for CleanView upright vacuums, fitting models 1813, 1819, 1820, 1823, 1824, 1825, 1836, and 1838. The access plate is the bottom cover on the cleaning nozzle that you remove to reach the brush roll and drive belt for cleaning and replacement.
CleanView uprights are designed for easy brush roll access, which means this plate is unclipped frequently — its retaining tabs eventually wear, crack, or break. A loose or broken access plate can rattle, drop off during use, or leave the brush roll improperly seated. Installing a new plate restores a clean, secure fit.
