This genuine Bissell foot motor drives the rotating brushroll in the cleaning head (foot) of Pet Hair Eraser upright vacuums. Separate from the main suction motor, this brush motor is what spins the agitator to lift embedded pet hair, dander, and debris from carpet and upholstery. When the brushroll stops turning even though the vacuum still has suction, this motor is the usual culprit.

This foot (brush) motor (Part #161-6292) fits the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser UPTS upright series, including models 2281, 2461, and 2475. Installing it restores full brushroll agitation so your vacuum grooms carpet fibers and pulls pet hair the way it did when new.
