Product details

This dirty tank is the removable debris container used on Bissell PowerClean stick vacuums, SKU 164-6962. It catches the dust, hair, and debris pulled in while you clean, then lifts free of the machine so you can empty it into the trash.

Bissell lists this tank for PowerClean Stick Vac models 4026, 4031, 4052 and 4137. Because the tank comes off and gets emptied every time the vacuum is used, the latch, the seal ring, and the plastic shell around it take more wear than most other parts on the machine.

  • Part: Complete dirty tank assembly, SKU 164-6962
  • Fits: PowerClean Stick Vac 4026, 4031, 4052, 4137
  • Function: Collects debris during cleaning and separates for emptying
  • Replace when: The tank has cracked, the latch will not stay shut, or dirt and dust leak out around the seal during use or emptying

Match your vacuum's model number against this list before ordering. Bissell has used more than one dirty tank design across its stick vac lineup, and tanks built for other models will not seat or latch correctly.
