Product details

The HP Turbo Cat 210 is a black, air-driven power brush attachment, sold here as part 8695-BG. It carries no motor or battery of its own; the turbine inside spins from the airflow the vacuum already produces, so connecting it to the wand is the only setup it needs.

Because agitation comes from the wand's own suction rather than a cord or batteries, the brush works wherever the hose reaches and there is nothing extra to charge or replace beyond the tool itself. On carpet and area rugs, the spinning brush lifts embedded dirt and pet hair that a bare suction nozzle tends to leave behind.

A tool built this way has a short list of things that can go wrong with it, and nearly all of them come down to the brush ends and the turbine bearing picking up hair or thread. A brush that turns slowly, catches, or spins only in bursts is almost always a wrap problem rather than a worn part, and it is a two-minute fix with the brush strip exposed.

  • Part: 8695-BG, air-driven power brush
  • Color: black
  • Drive: turbine spun by vacuum airflow, no motor or batteries
  • Best for: carpet and rug pile where suction alone leaves debris behind

Hair and thread wrapped around the turbine or the brush ends are the most common reason one of these stops spinning freely, so clearing the wraps out periodically keeps it turning at full speed.
