Rated at 120V and 150W, this is the motor that turns the brush roller in the SEBO ET-H power head. Part 2730 replaces it outright rather than attempting a rebuild.

It is a separate motor from the one producing suction, which is what makes the diagnosis straightforward: if the machine still pulls air normally while the roller sits still, the fault is in the head and not in the body. That 150W is doing the mechanical work of driving brush strips through carpet pile, so it takes the load every time the head meets a thick rug or a wet patch of fibre.

The signs of a failing brush motor are hard to miss. The roller slows under load, stalls against thick carpet, or stops turning altogether. A hot smell after a few minutes of use, or a new grinding note from the head, points the same way. Before condemning it, clear the roller of hair and check that it spins freely by hand, since a jammed roller and a dead motor look identical from above — and check the drive path too, because belts 2749 and 2750 and the brush drive unit 2753 can each stop the roller with a perfectly healthy motor behind them.

Order the motor by machine and by rating rather than by appearance. Power head motors of similar size run at different voltages and outputs, and the wrong one either underdrives the roller or overloads the circuit feeding it; the 120V, 150W unit is what the ET-H was built around.
