Product details
This pet brush roll fits Bissell's BOLT cordless stick vacuum, the 2-in-1 Lithium Pet model, part 1609895, covering the 1954 series along with the 19542, 19543 and 1954R variants.
A cordless stick vacuum runs on a fixed battery charge, so a roller dragging from wound hair or flattened bristles costs runtime as well as pickup, since the motor works harder to turn something that is not spinning freely. Watch for a visible line of pet hair left after a pass, a roller that visibly slows before the battery indicator suggests it should, or bristles gone flat and splayed instead of standing upright; any of those points to the roller rather than the battery or filter.
Clear hair and thread wraps off the roller often rather than waiting for a full replacement. Buildup restricts a small-diameter stick-vacuum roller faster than it does a full-size upright roller, and a bound roller drains the battery on top of leaving debris behind.
Check that a new roller spins freely by hand before the nozzle is closed back up, and cut wrapped hair away with scissors rather than dragging it out through the ends, since forcing a packed wrap past them strains the ends of the roller for no benefit.
