Brush roll for the Eureka CV390 power nozzle, ordered as part 155256. In a central vacuum the nozzle motor spins this roll while the suction comes from the unit in the garage, so the roll is doing all of the agitation work on its own.
That is why a worn roll here is easy to miss. The suction never drops, because the power unit is unaffected, but the carpet stops coming back up. Look for bristles that have shortened or splayed, bald sections along a row, hair wound tight at the end caps, or a roll that turns unevenly when you spin it by hand.
Change the belt at the same time if yours has stretched. A fresh roll on a tired belt will not turn at full speed, and you will be back inside the head within a month.
