Part AH55202 is the gentle roll for Hoover's ONEPWR FloorMate Jet — all microfiber, no nylon bristles — for sealed hard floors that you would rather not scrub. It is listed for the BH55200B, BH55210 and BH55230.
Use it where the finish matters: hardwood with a satin coat, polished vinyl, tile with soft grout, and for refreshing an area rug. It cleans by carrying solution and lifting film rather than by abrasion, so it is slower on a baked-on spill and kinder to everything else.
Microfiber has a definite service life. Once the pile mats down and stops releasing dirt in the wash, the roll pushes water around instead of picking it up and the floor dries streaky. That is the point to change it. If you also want the scrubbing version for kitchen floors, the multi-surface roll is the alternative in the same machines.
