Product details
A snapped buckle clip is one of the fastest ways to take a Titan T750 out of service, and this buckle set, part 24-A, replaces the full set of clip fasteners on the harness that hold the machine to the operator's back. It is also listed under the Titan 7838.
Buckles on a backpack machine wear more like a consumable than a durable part. Every shift adds another round of clipping in, unclipping, getting dropped on concrete, and sitting through a cold night in the truck bed, and that cycle eventually turns a clip brittle until it cracks apart, or wears a latch down until it can no longer hold its grip under load. Once that happens the harness will not stay cinched, which is more than an inconvenience, since the operator's own body weight starts working the strap loose with every step and the machine winds up swinging from the hose instead of riding the back where it belongs, with the wand angle drifting away from the surface being cleaned.
Fitting the set is a direct swap onto the existing straps, and it restores full harness security without touching anything else on the machine. Because the whole set ships together, mismatched clip sizes or hardware are not a concern the way they can be when only a single buckle is sourced separately.
- Part: 24-A
- Fits: Titan T750, Titan 7838
- Function: harness clip and buckle set
- Failure signs: brittle or cracked clips, a latch that will not hold under load
Crews running T750s in daily commercial service generally stock an extra buckle set for exactly this reason, since a single failed clip is otherwise all it takes to bench a machine that has nothing else wrong with it.
