SEBO's Premium Parquet Brush, part 7200GS, carries a small gray black cap over its button, and that cap is the piece that absorbs the wear a thumb delivers over a few thousand uses. It is catalogued as 7212GS and drawn at position 64 of the FELIX parts sheet, where the factory names it the button cover for the 7200GS brush. Position 63 on the same sheet is the brush itself, which is a useful way to confirm you are ordering the cap for the right tool.
Caps of this size fail in three familiar ways. The moulded surface polishes smooth until the button is hard to find by feel, the edge splits and lifts, or the cover departs entirely and leaves the mechanism beneath open to grit and knocks.
