Fitted to the older FELIX handle in its black Onyx finish, part 1035SW is the rubber bush that cushions the mains cord where it disappears into the handle. It is a small consumable whose whole purpose is protecting a far more important one.
Left unreplaced, a split or missing grommet lets the cord press straight onto the moulded rim of the opening. Flexing at that single point saws through the outer jacket, and what starts as a cosmetic nick finishes as exposed conductors on a machine that should not be plugged in at all.
