Part 845625W is the white CanSweep automatic dustpan, a floor-level inlet that ties into a central vacuum system. The idea is simple enough that it takes a moment to appreciate: instead of sweeping a pile onto a dustpan, you sweep it to the opening and let the pipework take it away.

Installed into a toe-kick or a baseboard, it is most useful in the places that get swept most, so kitchens, entryways, mudrooms and workshops. It removes the part of sweeping people actually dislike, which is the bending and the last stubborn line of dust that never quite makes it onto the pan.
