Product details
Part 227120 replaces the grip spanning the top of the Numatic Henry HVR200A canister, the piece gripped every time the machine changes rooms, whether that means a flight of stairs, the back of a vehicle, or a storage closet at the start of a route.
The stress on a canister handle builds at its mounting points rather than along its length, and years of lifting a full drum eventually shows up there first. The crack usually starts as a fine hairline right where the handle meets its mounting boss, invisible from a casual glance and only obvious once the handle is flexed under a real load. Running a thumb along both mounting points before each shift, rather than waiting for a visible gap to appear, catches the fault while it is still just a handle problem rather than a dropped canister.
Catching it early matters, because the failure mode is not the handle simply feeling loose, it is the canister letting go mid-lift and landing on the floor, drum contents included, which is a far pricier outcome than the handle by itself.
This handle is a direct swap for the HVR200A's original and mounts in its place without any modification to the canister body. Keep the old hardware on hand while you fit the new one, since a mismatched fastener is more likely to work loose over time than the handle itself is to crack again.
