This is the complete hose assembly for the Carpet Pro SCBP1 backpack, part A352-3400, and the same black hose fits the Sanitaire SC412 backpack. It supersedes the numbers A352-6900 and C352-6900, which is worth knowing if your parts list predates the change.
Backpack hoses live a harder life than canister hoses. They are flexed at the same point every time the operator turns, stood on, and pulled around corners under tension, so they split at the cuffs and develop soft, collapsing sections partway along. A pinhole you cannot see takes a noticeable bite out of suction at the wand.
Test it by running the machine and covering the wand end: a healthy hose goes quiet and stalls the airflow. If you can still hear air moving, it is getting in somewhere along the hose.
