This OEM motor fan is a replacement impeller for the Carpet Pro CP-ULW and ZM-400 lightweight uprights, the Fuller Brush Spiffy Maid FB-SM, and the Simplicity Freedom. The fan spins on the motor shaft to move air through the machine, creating the suction that pulls debris into the airflow. A balanced, intact fan is central to how the vacuum draws.
A fan with cracked, chipped, or broken blades loses efficiency and can vibrate or grow noisy, and a badly damaged fan cuts suction at the nozzle. Fitting a fresh fan restores full airflow and quiet, balanced operation. It is a core part of the vacuum's suction path.
