Part 06-4946-94 pairs a 30-foot central vacuum hose with a pigtail power cord and a Titan T5 electric power nozzle, plus a set of deluxe cleaning tools.

The pigtail cord plugs into any nearby wall outlet to feed power up the hose to the nozzle, which is the setup used when a central vacuum inlet was never wired for its own low-voltage or direct-connect power circuit. The T5 nozzle adds brush-roll agitation for carpet, something a straight-suction hose cannot do on its own.

An outlet needs to be within reach of wherever you plan to clean, since the pigtail cord draws power locally rather than through the central vacuum's own wiring.

Because the T5 draws power locally through the pigtail cord instead of through the central vacuum's own wiring, installing this kit does not call for running new low-voltage wire to the inlet, which is what makes it a practical upgrade for a suction-only system rather than a full rewiring project.
