Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part 1616326 is the 10.8V wall charger Bissell supplies for its Adapt Ion Pet and Pet Hair Eraser cordless machines. It is the adapter side of the charging system rather than the battery pack itself, and it is the cheaper of the two to replace when a machine has stopped holding a charge.

Small cordless adapters like this one see more physical stress than their size suggests, getting coiled, uncoiled, dropped behind furniture and stepped on around a charging dock. Damage there shows up electrically before it shows up visually: an indicator that stays dark, a run time that has quietly shrunk week over week, or a machine that seems to charge and then drains itself again within a couple of minutes of use. Flexing the lead gently along its length while the machine is docked will sometimes make an intermittent break show itself as a flickering indicator, which is about as close to a bench test as most people can manage at home.

A charger that runs noticeably warm while just sitting idle and plugged in, without a machine docked and drawing current, has a fault worth retiring it over rather than continuing to trust. Buy by this part number specifically instead of matching the plug shape alone, since chargers that look alike across a cordless lineup do not all carry the same output, and running the wrong output through a pack built for 10.8V shortens its life whether or not the machine seems to charge normally in the meantime.
