SEBO ET-1 Power Head Chassi...

Product details
Rebuilding a light gray ET-1 head around a cracked frame rarely holds, which is where 2324HG comes in. It is the replacement chassis in the matching finish, carrying the bearing seats, the motor mounting and the wheel locations that keep the brush roll square to the floor.
SEBO draws it at position 100 in the FELIX diagram. This is the part to reach for when a head has been dropped down a flight of stairs, when a screw boss has split so a fastener no longer pulls up tight, or when a repair that should have worked did not. Fresh bearing blocks in a twisted frame will still let the roll sit out of parallel, and a new belt on a frame with a distorted motor mount will keep tracking off no matter how carefully it is fitted. Signs to look for are hairline cracks radiating from screw locations, a wheel mount that has opened up, and a visible twist when the frame is set down on a flat surface.
The original internals transfer across into the new frame, so the work is mostly patience and a tidy bench rather than anything needing special tooling. Group the fasteners by location as they come out, check the bearing blocks and the belt while everything is accessible, and set the pile height mechanism back to a known position before closing up. The gray black version of this chassis is 2324GS, and the two differ only in finish. This is also a good moment to renew any wear part already close to the end of its life, because access to the interior of an ET-1 head is never better than with the frame stripped.
