Part 100599 is a replacement circuit board for the Beam 2500 central vacuum power unit.

Board failures in a central vacuum tend to be unmistakable: a unit that stays completely dark when switched on, cuts off partway through a cleaning session, or responds unpredictably to its switch. Since the motor, canister, and in-wall piping are unaffected by a bad board, swapping the electronics is a contained repair rather than a full unit replacement.
