Product details

The circuit breaker in a Titan oversize power nozzle is the thermal cut-out that stops the nozzle motor before an overload can cook it. Part 32-9702-01 is the replacement breaker for that nozzle, and it also serves the older Dust Care power nozzle built around the same metal brush roll design.

You notice a breaker doing its job when the brush roll dies mid-pass and comes back a few minutes later once everything has cooled. You notice a spent one when it trips within seconds of every reset, or will not reset at all and the nozzle stays dead while the vacuum itself keeps running.

Before fitting a new breaker, clear the brush roll of string and carpet fibre and check that it spins freely. A jammed roll will trip a healthy breaker just as fast as a worn one, and swapping the part will not touch the real fault.
