Built for vacuums using the 5.7-inch motor found in classic Compact (TriStar) machines, the high-efficiency HEPA media traps microscopic dust and allergens that ordinary foam filters let through.
The molded frame holds the pleated HEPA element in the correct dome shape so it seats securely over the motor intake and seals evenly around the opening. This both shields the motor from damaging dust and cleans the air passing through it. Part #CF100 arrives as a complete filter-and-frame assembly that drops straight into the housing.
