Stored on the body of the machine and pulled off whenever the hose comes out, light gray wand 50165HG is what gives the SEBO 300 Mechanical and 350 Mechanical their reach into corners, along baseboards, down stair treads and up onto upholstery.
Wands take the worst of the knocks in daily service. They get dropped on tile, stepped on, wedged under furniture and rolled over by the machine itself, and a crushed section or a split along the seam leaks air that you feel straight away as weak pull at the tool end. Because the leak is at the far end of the airway, it gets blamed on the motor or the bag more often than it should. A straight, undamaged tube also clips back into its on-board holder the way it was designed to, instead of working loose halfway through a job and being left behind in a stairwell.
