Product details
Part B012-2514 is the clutch pad for the Fuller Brush FB-MMCF4 upright. It is the friction surface in the clutch that couples the drive to the brush roll, and it wears a little every time the clutch takes up.
A worn pad slips. What you see is a brush roll that spins freely with the nozzle in the air but slows or stops the moment you push it into carpet — the drive is there right up until it is asked to do work. Glazed pads behave the same way and sometimes add a faint burning smell after a few minutes of use.
Because the clutch has to come apart to reach the pad, it is worth inspecting the belt and the brush roll bearings in the same job. All three wear on the same clock, and none of them is worth a second teardown. Confirm your machine is the FB-MMCF4 before ordering.
