Product details

This universal valve replaces the drain fitting on a commercial carpet extractor's recovery tank, the part responsible for letting dirty water out when a job wraps up.

Two failure modes account for nearly all drain valve trouble: water seeping out in a steady drip no matter where the machine sits, or the valve refusing to budge exactly when the tank is brimming and needs to be emptied. Either failure slows a cleaning crew down, since a working valve is what lets the recovery tank empty quickly between rooms.

  • Part: -7105
  • Use: recovery tank drain valve
  • Fit: universal for standard drain valve connections

Check your extractor's existing valve connection size before ordering, since drain fittings vary between manufacturers.

Recovery tank valves see near-constant exposure to dirty extraction water, and the seals inside them wear faster than most other parts on the machine. A crew running several jobs a week can expect to replace one more often than almost anything else on the extractor, simply from the volume of water passing through it.
