SEBO Exhaust Filter Cover f...

Product details
A decade of hot exhaust passing an inch away leaves this moulding stiffer than the day it was made, and stiff plastic breaks at its thinnest point, which here means the clips. In gray black the number is 8249GSER, made for the AIRBELT E3 Premium and carried on SEBO's AIRBELT E schematic as item 4.
Everything it does comes down to clamping load. Held down properly, the media sits flush on its seat and the whole of the exhaust has to cross it. Released, that same air finds the rim and goes around instead. Item 4 is the last stage in a sequence the sheet sets out plainly: filter bag at item 21, pre-motor filter box at item 20, suction motor at item 9, then this panel and the media it clamps. A failure here costs you no suction whatsoever, so the only clue is dust reappearing where it should not.
Look for a lug that has broken away, a panel that rattles faintly while the machine runs, or a cover that has to be pressed to stay shut. Any of those means the load has gone and the media is free to move.

- Part number: 8249GSER

Because gray black and plain black carry separate part numbers, hold the colour name against your own machine in daylight before ordering. It is also worth checking that the broken cover is the outgoing-air one at item 4 rather than the 8224 series filter cover at item 24, which sits over the bag compartment instead. Searches for a gray black SEBO filter cover or an E3 Premium exhaust panel all lead here. Ships in 2-5 business days.
