The Decovac temporary cover guard (SKU TF010101) is a plaster guard that protects a Decovac wall inlet mounting plate during construction. Installed over the roughed-in mounting plate, it seals the opening so plaster dust and debris cannot collect inside before the finished Decovac cover plate goes on.
This is an installation component for Decovac inlet systems, used together with the Decovac wall inlet mounting plate. Keeping the plate clean during drywall and finishing work means a trouble-free connection when the final inlet valve and cover plate are fitted.
