The Dirt Devil Filter Holder (Part #1JN0023600) is an OEM part made to factory specifications for uprights from the 085570 through the 085590. The holder cradles the filter and positions it in the airflow so it can trap dust, allergens, and fine debris before the exhaust leaves the machine.

A cracked or broken holder lets the filter shift out of place, so unfiltered air bypasses it and suction and air quality suffer. A correctly fitted holder keeps the filter seated for full capture.
