Type R micro-filtration bags for Dirt Devil and Royal canister vacuums, our part 215, supplied seven to a pack with one filter included. These are replacement bags rather than factory-boxed stock, cut and collared to seat on the Type R canister fitting.
The micro media is the reason to bother with them. The paper traps fine dust that a plain single-ply bag pushes straight back out through the exhaust, which matters most in a room you have just disturbed by vacuuming it. A bag that is filling up is also the most common cause of a canister that has supposedly lost suction: airflow chokes long before the bag is physically full, and the motor works harder for less pickup.
Change the bag at around two-thirds full rather than waiting for it to pack solid, and fit the included filter at the same time. Our fitment data lists these for the Dirt Devil SD30055.
