Product details

Secondary filter for the Dirt Devil SD30040 Tattoo, part 1SD1116000. It sits in the bag chamber of the canister and gives the air a second stage of filtering after the bag and before the motor. The same filter covers the color variants, SD30040BB, BI, BR, CBT, CS and PI.

Secondary filters are the ones owners forget, and it shows. The pad slowly grays, then blackens, and long before it looks blocked it has started strangling airflow: the machine sounds strained, the floor tool sticks to carpet, and the bag seems to fill more slowly than it used to because less air is moving through it.

Fit a clean one whenever the pad is discolored and the machine gets its air back, along with the protection the motor depends on.
