Part 5730SG is the yellow display, drawn at item 164 for the SEBO AUTOMATIC X4 and AUTOMATIC X5. It is the small panel let into the fascia, the one an owner glances at while working to see what the machine is telling them, and it belongs to yellow-bodied examples of both uprights.

People come looking for it after one of two things. Impact damage is the common cause: a panel that has been struck leaves an opening in the fascia, dust collects in the recess behind it, and the longer it stays open the more there is to clear out later. The other is simple age, where a lens has crazed or lost its clarity and the indication becomes hard to pick out at arm's length in a poorly lit hallway. Neither is an electrical failure. On the same drawing the power supply and computer controller are item 112 and the ribbon cable item 113, both catalogued in their own right, so a display that has been broken does not imply anything deeper has gone wrong. Fitting means lifting out whatever is left of the old moulding and seating a fresh panel squarely into the same aperture.

Panels in other finishes carry their own numbers and will sit awkwardly against yellow bodywork, so this is a colour worth matching properly rather than approximately. It is also worth checking the switch cap and the bag housing catch at the same time, since a knock heavy enough to take out one yellow moulding has frequently caught a second.
