SEBO Drive Belt for DISCO

Product details
A drive that turns slowly, or not at all, while the motor sounds completely normal is the classic sign of a failed belt. SEBO 3221 is the DISCO drive belt, position 29 on that machine's parts diagram, and it is the link between the motor pulley and the drive it turns. Everything upstream of it can be in perfect order and the polisher will still do nothing useful once this one component has let go.
Belts stretch and glaze long before they part. The change is gradual, so most owners notice the result rather than the cause: the finish takes longer to come up, the machine has to be worked over the same patch twice, and the drive slows under load even though it spins freely with the machine lifted. A glazed belt also squeals as it slips. Because the belt is the simplest item in the drive train to change, it is the sensible first replacement whenever drive speed is in question. With it off, take the opportunity to check the motor pulley, part 3222, for a chewed or grooved face, and look at the belt drive cover 3202GS for cracks while access is easy.
