The PU3900C leans on its LCD readout more than most power units: the screen reports how the system is performing and signals when the dirt receptacle needs attention, so a dead display takes the unit's self-monitoring with it. This module is the replacement for that display electronics, and parts suppliers class it with the unit's control modules rather than its cosmetic trim.
