Product details
Part 12.6174-49 is Wessel Werk's long-reach dusting brush, sized to a 1-1/4 inch friction-fit tube and carried as an approved accessory on the Wessel Werk 1623.
Its added length is what sets it apart from a standard dusting brush, letting it reach across bookshelves, along sills and over the top edge of a door frame without extending an arm to the limit. A ring of soft bristles rings the mouth of the tool so the hard plastic edge never touches finished wood or painted trim directly. Over time those bristles bend outward and lose their spring, and once flattened they push dust across a surface rather than pulling it in.
It attaches by pushing straight onto any wand or hose opening sized to that same 1-1/4 inch diameter. Check the diameter of your wand before ordering, since a 1-1/2 inch opening looks close enough by eye but will not hold this fitting securely.
Because the bristle ring sits at the far end of an already long reach, a loose wand joint is felt more here than on a short brush, so a connection that wobbles is worth checking before blaming an unsteady pass on the brush itself. Wiping the plastic mouth clean now and then also matters, since a film of dust and static-clung debris there cuts into airflow right at the point the tool needs it most, regardless of how the bristles are holding up.
