Part 96 is the end cap for the brush roll in a Sirena canister power nozzle - the moulded cap that closes the end of the roll and locates it in the nozzle housing.
End caps take a beating. Hair packs in behind them, the plastic wears where it rides in the housing, and the cap eventually cracks or works loose. Once that happens the roll has play it should not have: it sits at an angle, chatters as it turns, and the belt begins to track towards one side. Debris then finds its way into the bearing area and the wear speeds up from there.
Clear the wound hair from both ends of the roll while it is out, and check that it spins freely by hand with the new cap on before you refit the belt.
