Of all the driven floor heads SEBO catalogues, the white switched ET-1 covers the widest spread of machines, which is why 9258AM turns up so often as a replacement. It is listed for the SEBO FELIX Premium and FELIX 2 Premium uprights, for the AIRBELT D4 Premium, AIRBELT E3 Premium and AIRBELT K3 Premium canisters, and for the C3.1.
The head carries its own motor to drive the brush roll, and the rocker sits on the head so the roller can be stopped for a bare floor or a loose rug without walking back to the machine. Colour is not cosmetic on these: the white head belongs with the white and arctic white machines, and the black and red versions carry separate part numbers rather than being options against this one. The switch matters just as much, since the unswitched ET-1 in white is 9260AM. Between them those four variables — family, colour, switch, and the machine it is going on — are the whole of the ordering decision.
A worn head announces itself: a roller that stalls or stops turning, a housing cracked after a fall down stairs, a rocker that no longer clicks, or bristles combed flat so carpet is being skimmed rather than agitated.
