When every inlet in a house pulls weaker than it used to, and the motor sounds no different than it always has, the cause usually sits inside the canister rather than anywhere near the wall plates. Part 110348 fills that role for a wide span of Eureka power units and for the Beam 2250D Serenity, a 14 inch cloth stage sized for these particular canisters.
Dirt separates out of the airstream at this cloth barrier on its way from the inlet piping toward the motor, which is what makes it reusable in a way a disposable paper cartridge is not. That reuse comes with a catch, though: fine dust eventually works permanently into the weave, reaching a point where washing no longer restores the fabric's ability to breathe, and there is rarely a visible sign that this threshold has been crossed.

Watching how suction and motor pitch change over weeks is a far better gauge of when this filter needs swapping than inspecting the fabric by eye, since a filter that has become too packed to breathe properly can still look clean. Before placing an order, take a measurement across the top of the current filter and check it against the 14 inch spec, because Eureka and Beam built these canisters around more than one filter diameter over the years.
