This body seal (Part #B352-1200) is the gasket that seals the two halves of the housing on the Eureka / Sanitaire SC412A and SC412B commercial backpack vacuum cleaners. The seal sits between the body shells so that all suction is routed through the filtration system and motor rather than leaking out at the seam.
When the original seal hardens, cracks, or compresses flat, the backpack loses suction and can let unfiltered dust escape at the body joint. A fresh body seal re-establishes an airtight housing, restoring full airflow and clean exhaust for operators wearing the unit through long cleaning shifts.
