SEBO Exhaust Microfilter for AUTOMATIC X7 and X8 Uprights

Air leaving a SEBO AUTOMATIC X7 or X8 passes through this exhaust microfilter on its way back into the room, which makes it the last barrier between the machine and the air you breathe. Part 52038AM is that element, and it picks up the very fine material that has slipped past the bag and the pre-motor stage.

An exhaust filter has a finite working life by design, and it announces the end of it visibly. The element darkens as it loads, and a grey, dust-packed filter has done its job and is now working against the machine on two fronts. It chokes airflow, so suction falls at the floor even with a fresh bag fitted, and the dust it is holding can begin working loose again on the outgoing air. Anyone who notices the exhaust smelling dusty, or finds that pickup has dropped for no reason traceable to the bag, should pull this filter out and look at it against a new one.

The habit worth forming is to treat the filter and the bag as one service rather than two. Bags are changed because they are obviously full; filters are forgotten because nothing announces them. Setting them on the same schedule, so the exhaust element is renewed as part of the routine, is what keeps an X7 or X8 delivering the airflow it had when it was new.
